INFORMATION ON BEING INCLUDED IN THE 2019 EDITION OF THE LIST OF LODGES, MASONIC DIRECTORY
The roster of Grand
Lodges to be included in the next edition is established on July 1st of the year prior
to publication. In July of each year,
Pantagraph Printing and Stationery Company (PP&S) mails the roster for the next edition and the
previous year’s listing to each of the Grand Secretaries whose Grand Lodge/Orient will
appear in the next edition. This allows the Grand Lodges to update their
listing and modify the exceptions at the end of their listing.
The threshold for a
Grand Lodge to appear in the List of Lodges, Masonic directory is to hold recognition from ten (10) United States of America “regular” mainstream Grand Lodges.
Prince Hall Grand Lodges are eligible to appear if they are recognized
by their corresponding geographic “regular” Grand Lodge. The “petitioning”
Grand Lodge must also agree to keep its listing up to date.
To be included in the 2019 edition, a “petitioning” Grand
Lodge needs to present letters of recognition from ten (10) U.S.A.“regular” Grand Lodges no later than June 1, 2018. PP&S will verify the
recognitions with the corresponding Grand Lodges. Once verified, the
petitioning Grand Lodge will receive an invitation to appear.
REMOVAL OF GRAND LODGES
the right to remove a Grand Lodge from the directory at anytime. If it is
determined that a Grand Lodge no longer holds ten U.S.A. recognitions or fails
to respond to our requests for verification of recognitions, it is subject to
removal. If a Grand Lodge fails to update its listing or to respond to our
request for update for five (5) consecutive years, it is subject to being
removed without any further notification.
Failure to remit payment for books ordered in a timely fashion may
result in removal from the next edition.
